The Tan Phuoc Power Complex owned by Vietnam Electricity (EVN) is an important power source project supplying electricity for the Southern Region, in accordance with the revised Power Master Plan VII approved by the Prime Minister. The Power Complex is planned to be located in Tan Phuoc Commune, Go Cong Dong District, Tien Giang Province, on the right side of the Soai Rap River, about 52km southwest from Ho Chi Minh City.
